Our third and final showroom was Jerome Dreyfuss, husband of Isabel Marant (!), more shoes and this time also bags. I have to say I would have bought any of the pieces could I have afforded them. The bags were beautiful and the suede ones have been specially treated so that water literally runs off them! I am telling you they have a serious market for that in England- genius. My poor suede jacket barely gets worn I'm so afraid of it raining and getting wet.
I have to the note the absolutely unique and darling detail in the golden paperclip as the zipper. Just beautiful. I'll tell you what else is beautiful... Emily Marant, daughter of Isabel Marant, who works in the showroom with her dad. She is one of those naturally beautifully, tall, skinny people that you want to dislike. But when she brings you a little box of delicious macaroons as a gift, how can you?
I love Paris.
