So I went to Disneyland at the weekend. I felt genuinely more excited than I felt at Christmas waking up and knowing that I was going to Disneyland that day. I hadn't been to Disneyland Paris since the millenium and though I went to the Disneyworld in Florida more recently it was probably still nearly 10 years ago. Excited is an understandment of how I felt. I literally ran into the park like a kid, dressed looking like a kid, and the first thing I did was buy a pair on Minnie Mouse ears. No regrets.
The Disneyland castle is just perfect. It pretty much symbolises my entire childhood, my dreams. Ok it wasn't as big as I remembered it but I think that is because I have grown and I think the Disneyworld castle is bigger. It's so beautiful I couldn't stop taking photos of it every time that we walked past.
Below is me looking pretty much like a 12 year old in my Uniqlo Disney tshirt and my minnie mouse ears. Smiling from ear to ear which I did pretty much all day. It really is just such a happy place.
