Marina Baie des Anges - a.k.a our favourite beach spot

The Marina Baie des Anges has stunning architecture that when I was little I used to try and recreate with lego bricks. My mum lived there as a girl with her family which is pretty cool and I think I lived a couple of months there as a baby. But buildings aside it is always one of our favourite beach spots on the Cote d'Azur.

Okay the beach is pebbly which is not the most comfortable but the water is so deep blue and clean and you can get the nicest Pain Bagnat (a Nicoise specialty sandwich).

I got this top on the right for £5 when I was back in England. I am in love with it. The sequins, the words which are just what anyone is thinking all summer long; the perfect beach coverup.

From the beach you can look across the bay and see all the way along the coast to Nice. Even if it clouds over it still looks pretty impressive don't you think?

If I could send a postcard to anyone whenever I am on the beach here I think this is what it would say:

Although I don't wish everyone was there because then it would be busy and lose it's serenity and it's beautiful calmness, and I would like to keep this little secret all mine.
